Six Inches of Soil

Screening of ‘Six Inches of Soil’ (an inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities).

Tickets cost 14 USD through Kinema. Check out the link below. Included in your ticket is a serving of hot smoked pulled beef brisket, onion relish and beef dripping chips. All obviously regeneratively farmed!

Panel discussion with local regenerative farmers/gardeners/sustainability experts/ health care professionals follows.

Also happening over the two days: Friday 27/09 and Saturday 28/09, make you sure you choose the right day to book your tickets!

Annual Apple Pressing

Friday/Saturday 10am-5pm
Children of all ages welcome, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Bring your own apples to press if you have them (or use ours. Please bring your own containers to take the juice home.

There is a charge of £3 for this event, proceeds go to the Community Garden.

 

Seabuckthorn Harvesting

Friday/Saturday 10am-5pm
To harvest this superfood you need a pair of scissors and a pair of gloves. The bushes have spikes that can be vicious.

There is no charge for the event and you may take home some of the harvest. Please bring a container with you.

Tours of the Community Garden and the animals will happen on the farm throughout the day.
